Maddison Wilkerson, CPA, CGFO, serves as the Chief Financial Officer and Municipal Clerk for the City of Rock Hill, South Carolina. She oversees the City’s finance administration, budget, accounting, customer service, and collections divisions—ensuring fiscal stewardship and operational efficiency across all departments.
With nearly nine years of experience in government finance, Maddison brings a strong background in strategic budgeting and public sector financial management. Her previous roles include serving as Budget Officer for the City of Rock Hill, Chief Financial Officer for the Lexington-Richland School District Five, and Director of Budget & Strategic Management for Richland County. Maddison began her career in public accounting with Cherry Bekaert in Charlotte, North Carolina.
She is a Certified Public Accountant (CPA) licensed in 2016 and earned her Certified Government Finance Officer (CGFO) designation from the Government Finance Officers Association of South Carolina in 2022. Maddison holds a Master of Business Administration from Winthrop University and a Bachelor of Science in Business Administration from the University of South Carolina.
Maddison serves on the National Committee on Governmental Budgeting and Fiscal Policy with the Government Finance Officers Association and is a current member of the Women’s Professional Finance Network.
