J.P. Yarusinski is the Head of Economics and Hedging where he leads the
development of macroeconomic and market outlooks to inform corporate treasury’s
balance sheet positioning and provides risk perspectives across the enterprise. J.P.
brings a nuanced understanding of capital markets and the economy developed over
a 30-year career and helps guide strategic positioning in a constantly changing
economic landscape.
Prior to joining Truist, JP was an institutional fixed income portfolio manager for
Ridgeworth Capital Management where he managed over $20B in fixed income
mutual funds. JP has also held positions within the corporate treasury areas of
Wachovia and SouthTrust Bank.
JP is a CFA Charterholder and a member of the CFA Society of Atlanta and has
been a featured guest on NBC, Business Talk Radio Network and at numerous
annual professional engagements. JP earned a degree in Analytical Finance and
Accountancy from Wake Forest University.
He currently resides in Atlanta with his wife Tricia and their son Alex. JP enjoys
hiking, travelling, cooking, and mentoring young leaders at Truist.
